OREANDA-NEWS. AvtoVAZ sold in August in the Russian market 20,174 cars – it is less by 23.8% than a year before. At the end of eight months of 2015 Russian dealers of Lada sold 181,804 vehicles, which is less by 26.5% than the same period of the last year. With a total fall of the Russian car market approximately by 34% in January-August, the share of Lada reached 18% compared to 16.4% for the same period of 2014, informed the press service of AvtoVAZ.

As noted, sales of Lada Largus in August increased by 31.4% compared to the previous month, and Lada 4x4 – by 9.9%. Moreover, SUV sales for the eight months in 2015 are higher by 1.2% than indicators of the same period of a year before.

In the coming days, AvtoVAZ plans to offer new tools to stimulate demand and sales, about which it will be announced later.
