OREANDA-NEWS. Apollo Goessnitz GmbH (HMS Group) has signed a contract with Neste Oil (Finland) for supply of pumping units for oil refinery in Porvoo.

According to the contract, for the project of solvent deasphalting unit it is supposed to supply two main high pressure multistage pumps of BB5 (API 610) type with 1528 m?/h flow rate and 515 m head for solvents with temperature up to +265 °C as well as three single-stage process pumps of OH2 (API 610) type with 1000 m?/h flow rate and 320 m head for oil and minor products with temperature up to +350 °C.

Application of dynamically balanced impellers ensures low vibration and high reliability of the pumping units. The demountable couplings provide dismantling of pumps without disassembling of the pipelines while replaceable elements used in rotor and flow path of pumps simplify the maintenance operations.
