OREANDA-NEWS. National Rating Agency has affirmed its national scale ‘A+’ credit rating on INTERPROMBANK CB JSC (IPB). The bank was assigned NRA’s national scale ‘A+’ credit rating in August 2009. The rating was affirmed on May 6, 2015.

The rating is supported by IPB’s robust market position, good-quality assets, stable customer base, and its long-standing fruitful relations with clients from the defense industry and public sector. Historically, the bank has maintained a conservative underwriting approach.

The rating is constrained by IPB’s weak short-term liquidity metrics and the high single-name concentration on the both sides of the bank's balance sheet, which is due to the specifics of its operations.
