OREANDA-NEWS. September 09, 2015. SC Urals Electrochemical Combine (Novouralsk, Sverdlovsk reg., incorporated within Rosatom Fuel Company TVEL) was visited by a delegation of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corp. (ENEC) from the United Arabian Emirates.

The main purpose of the visit became the audit of the enterprise compliance with the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, as well as effectiveness of SC UEChC management system, its performance and support. The visit was made within the framework of the contract signed between ENEC and SC Tekhsnabexport (TENEX), which contractor is the Urals Electrochemical Combine.

The representatives of the customer have visited one of the principal shops of the combine, the division for the product molding, the Central laboratory of the plant. According to the words of Mr. Bruce Douglas Vardy, the audit manager of ENEC, they were impressed with the high level of the production technology and arrangement of the separation process at UEChC. "We have assured how reliable the production process is arranged and how carefully the quality of the uranium products is managed at UEChC. All employees of the enterprise are responsible highly qualified experts really devoted to their work", he emphasized.

Currently SC UEChC ensures performance of over 80 % of the export orders for uranium enrichment placed in Russia. For many year of effective activities the Combine have deserved the reputation of pristine stable supplier and reliable partner at the world uranium market. This allows the enterprise to feel comfortably in the competitive environment and expand the production capabilities at the world market.
