The Russian representative of Honda will focus on the supply of spare parts and service, written in the letter. Dealers accepted it as a withdrawal of company from the Russian market, wrote the newspaper "Vedomosti".

All cars that are sold in Russia, Honda Motor imports, for example, Honda CR-V - from the UK and the US, Acura MDX - from the United States. The depreciated ruble makes the price of these cars less attractive. As a result, according to the AEB, for January-July sales of Honda fell by 78% to 2742 units. The market as a whole for the same period fell by 35.3% to 1.411 million cars.
