OREANDA-NEWS. September 08, 2015. Lincoln made its appearance at the 2015 Chengdu Motor Show, showcasing its latest product line-up, including the medium-large sized utility, Lincoln MKX; the full-size luxury SUV, Lincoln Navigator; the small utility, Lincoln MKC; the midsize sedan, Lincoln MKZ; and the Presidential Series.

Since its entry into Southwestern China at the Chengdu Meilin Lincoln Store in December 2014, Lincoln has been warmly received by customers as a distinctive player in the premium auto market. With an even stronger product portfolio positioned in popular segments, more customers in the region will appreciate Lincoln’s unique interpretation of luxury delivered through “The Lincoln Way”.

The Lincoln Way is Lincoln’s innovative model of automotive purchase and ownership, tailored to Chinese customers. It shifts premium automotive ownership from a transaction-focused model to a truly one-size-fits-one approach, and promises a unique brand journey.

World-class vehicles with unique driver and passenger experiences

The Lincoln Way is not only focused on the dealership experience and providing outstanding service, but is also the soul in every Lincoln vehicle. Based on countless hours of testing and listening to customer feedback, Lincoln vehicles are built to provide a uniquely personalized driver and passenger experience.

The philosophy has been proven by the Lincoln MKC and the Lincoln MKZ, both currently available in dealerships. Shortly these two products will be joined by the Lincoln MKX and the Lincoln Navigator.

The new Lincoln MKX is inspired by the beauty of modern aircraft, with a modern, contemporary silhouette, and class-leading interior space. The vehicle also features an array of intuitive technologies allowing for additional safety, comfort, and personalization.

Some uniquely innovative attributes include a 360-degree camera, ingeniously positioned behind the Lincoln badge on the front grill, providing better visibility in cross-traffic situations; LED headlamps that automatically adjust the light pattern for improved visibility when accelerating from 0 to 35 mph; and the exclusive Revel® audio system, that simulates different listening scenarios and theatre environments enhancing the luxurious cabin environment.

The new Lincoln MKX will be officially launched in October with two EcoBoost engine options: a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and an advanced 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged engine.

In 1997 the Lincoln Navigator pioneered the full-size luxury SUV segment. Known as the icon of this segment, the new Navigator delivers great versatility with standard 4x4 technology and the powerful 3.5L twin-turbo charged EcoBoost engine.  Standard leather-covered seats offer three rows of luxurious accommodations. The second and third row fold flat to make room for extra cargo space providing additional flexibility. The Lincoln Navigator will arrive in Lincoln dealerships in November of this year.

“Southwestern China is a fast-growing and promising market, where a new generation of premium auto customers regard luxury as not only a statement of wealth, but also an expression of individuality,” said Robert Parker, president, Lincoln China. “Based on their needs, we brought the personally crafted luxury of The Lincoln Way. It is another example of the brand’s spirit of innovation and demonstrates our commitment to Chinese customers.”
