OREANDA-NEWS. Fitch Ratings says in a new report that the rating outlook and sector Outlook for the German non-life insurance sector are Stable as strong underwriting profitability offsets the effects of low investment yields.

Fitch expects motor insurers will report underwriting profits for 2015 and 2016 for the first time after seven years of losses. However, continued benign claims experience in 2H15 and 2016 could lead to a reduction in premium rates in 2016.
