OREANDA-NEWS. September 04, 2015. Today, the subsidiary of AvtoVAZ "Lada Sport" launched in a series the fastest, the most charged and the most "evil" - LADA Kalina NFR. Abbreviation NFR stands for “Need for Race”. The car is designed for public roads, for those who like a more dynamic ride. The model was tested successfully this winter during a chain of ice racing.

Engine power – is 140 hp and torque of 144 NM at 4800 rev / min. The car accelerates to 100 km / h in 8.9 seconds (for comparison - the usual Kalina Sport – does it in 9.5 seconds) and the top speed is 207 km / h (Kalina Sport - 197 km / h). NFR – has the increased power, improved dynamics, upgraded transmission with cable-operated gear ratio and matched the main pair, large wheels with tires R17. For the car it was developed a new braking system: increased size of the front brake discs, it was set rear disc brakes with ABS. In general it is all - the continuation of the conveyor "Lada Sport", the third and the most powerful model in the line of sports cars on the basis of LADA.
