APG: Turnover of Apranga Group in August 2015
Decrease in turnover was specifically caused by warm weather in August and consequently weaker sales of autumn collections. On the contrary, unusually cool weather in August 2014 has lead to considerable increase in turnover. Despite the circumstances, the turnover of EUR 18,3 million in August was the second best result in the company's history.
In January through August 2015, the retail turnover of Apranga Group (including VAT) reached EUR 123.9 million, and increased 7.2% year-to-year.
In January-August 2015, the retail turnover of the Apranga Group in Lithuania increased 7.1% year-to-year, in Latvia increased 1.4% and in Estonia 18.2%.
Currently Apranga Group operates the chain of 168 stores (100 in Lithuania, 45 in Latvia and 23 in Estonia) covering the gross area of 77.8 thousand sq. m., or by 8.4% more than a year ago.
Shares of Apranga are listed on Baltic equity list on Nasdaq Vilnius Stock Exchange. Majority shareholder of Apranga Group is concern MG Baltic.
