OREANDA-NEWS. September 01, 2015. Lincoln announced today the grand opening of the Wuhan Jianyin Lincoln Store, the first Lincoln Store in Hubei province. The Lincoln Store is the second dealership in central China within a month, further demonstrating Lincoln’s commitment to the region with high market potential.

Wuhan, recently approved by the central government to become a pioneer in financial innovation, will become an even more important player in the Yangtze River economic belt. By introducing itself to the region as consumption patterns change, Lincoln has the unique opportunity to capture the market using The Lincoln Way brand journey, and an outstanding lineup of vehicles as demand for luxury goods rises.

“This dealership proves our commitment to bringing our vehicles and services to a new breed of customers in central China,” said Robert Parker, president, Lincoln China. “Through The Lincoln Way, we will be able to provide an unparalleled level of service as the market here evolves.”

Lincoln has been growing steadily since it launched in China last year, with 16 stores already open. To the delight of all stakeholders involved, Lincoln is on track to build 25 Lincoln Stores by the end of 2015, and have a dealership network of 60 Lincoln Stores by the end of 2016.

The Lincoln Way, an innovative brand journey

Developed specifically to meet the needs of a new but growing generation of Chinese consumers, The Lincoln Way reinvents the traditional transaction-focused model and puts customers at the forefront with a “one-size-fits-one” approach.

Designed to create lasting relationships through personally crafted experiences that make a connection with customers, it defines how Lincoln customers experience the brand.

As the physical manifestation of The Lincoln Way, Lincoln Stores are built around their customers, using clean, elegant designs, harmonious colors and quality materials. A distinct, welcoming environment features a relaxing tea house and personalized service, and the open spaces highlight intuitive new technologies like the Personalization Studio, where customers can customize and preview life-size versions of their vehicles.

Specially trained staff are ready to fulfill guests’ needs, both in person and online. Personalized test drive routes can be arranged at any dealership or online; full maintenance transparency is available in each Lincoln dealership with a live video feed; and service hours can be extended to fit clients’ busy schedules.

The result is a better ability to anticipate the needs of guests as they go through the Lincoln ownership experience and strengthen their bond with the brand.

Progress supported by premium products

The all-encompassing service brought by The Lincoln Way is supported by an enticing lineup of luxury vehicles. The well-received MKC, a small premium utility vehicle, and the lauded MKZ, a midsize premium sedan, are both already being offered at Lincoln Stores around China. Both vehicles come in four available trim packages: the Reserve, the Select, the Preferred and the Presidential Series.

These will be supplemented by three new models to be introduced in China by the end of 2016. The medium-large sized premium utility Lincoln MKX and full-size luxury SUV Lincoln Navigator will be hitting showrooms in the second half of 2015, while the Lincoln Continental, a show-favorite full-size luxury sedan concept unveiled at Auto Shanghai 2015, will be available the following year.

“We are excited to bring the Lincoln brand to Wuhan customers for the first time,” said Yeling Li, president, Wuhan Jianyin Huasheng Investment Group. “The innovative vision behind The Lincoln Way, combined with a world-class lineup of vehicles, puts us in the unique position to attract our customers, and we believe this historic American luxury brand will be well appreciated.”
