OREANDA-NEWS. The provisional administration of LLC Plato-bank appointed by Bank of Russia Order No. OD-1040, dated 13 May 2015, due to the revocation of its banking licence revealed in the course of examination of the credit institution's financial standing that the value of assets of LLC Plato-bank did not exceed 473 million rubles while its liabilities to creditors amounted to 907.3 million rubles.

In the course of its examination the provisional administration found out that the loans to practically all bank borrowers were not related to their actual economic activities. The operations carried out by the bank bear the evidence of withdrawing the funds including those received from households. Besides, the bank recorded its assets by the value which exceeded manifold their market value.

On 20 July 2015, the Court of Arbitration of the Sverdlovsk Region took a decision to recognise LLC Plato-bank insolvent (bankrupt) and to initiate bankruptcy proceedings with the state corporation Deposit Insurance Agency appointed as a receiver.

The Bank of Russia has submitted the information on the financial transactions bearing the evidence of the criminal offence conducted by the former management and owners of LLC Plato-bank to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation and to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for consideration and procedural decision making.
