OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has leased telecommunications circuit from PJSC Rostelecom during construction of a reliable network in Moscow and Moscow Region. The sides have signed an agreement on providing services of virtual private networks based on Rostelecom’s data infrastructure.

As a part of the agreement Rostelecom provides Tele2 with digital private circuits in Moscow and Moscow Region. The service is based on Rostelecom backhaul with the use of up-to-date technologies IP/MPLS and MicroWave as well as modern equipment produced by leading manufacturers. Organization of mobile services based on virtual private networks guarantees high speed and reliability of data services in 3G/4G networks.

In cooperation the company pays special attention to the quality of the provided services. For this purpose, specialists of both companies regularly carry out technical monitoring. High standards of quality will be provided by the SLA agreement.

Tele2 is actively preparing to launch profitable and high-quality mobile services in Moscow. The company has already finished rolling out the clustering network and continues working on the backhaul development. The operator builds over 100 base stations in Moscow and Moscow Region every week. Tele2 has already provided high-quality network coverage at territories where over 70% of the capital’s population and 55% of Moscow Region residents live, including the largest cities such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Khimki, Mytishchi, Zheleznodorozhnyy, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye, Reutov, Korolev, Dolgoprudnyy and Krasnogorsk.
