OREANDA-NEWS. The company Toyota plans to bring to Russia a restyled version of the SUV Land Cruiser 200 before the end of this year. The vice-president of the Russian office of the brand Fumitaka Kawashima, informed about it "Motor.ru".

Updated Land Cruiser was officially presented in mid-August. The SUV has new exterior, upgraded interior and modified engines. So, the twin-turbo diesel 4.5 received new injectors, diesel particulate filters and other management software. Engine power increased up to 271 HP, but the maximum torque remained the same - 650 Nm. In addition, for the 381-strong "eight" 5.7 it will be offered now 8-speed automatic transmission but not 6-band as before.

Before restyled Land Cruiser on the Russian market is offered with a 4.6-liter petrol engine V8, the return of which is 309 hp and 439 Nm of torque, as well as the 235-horsepower diesel engine. Prices for the model start at 2.99 million rubles.

In the I half of 2005, the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 has become the leader by sales in its segment (F-SUV Premium) with an indicator of 4040 sold cars (-38.3%).
