OREANDA-NEWS. St. Petersburg plant "Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus" started the car production for the Middle East. The company has signed contracts for the supply of Hyundai Solaris cars, manufactured in Russia, to Egypt and Lebanon. The vehicles will be adapted especially to the hot climate of the Middle East. To do this, they will be equipped with a special air-conditioning and ventilation, as well as the battery, wrote the press service of "Hyundai Motor CIS".

In August of 2015 the Russian plant Hyundai Motor Company will produce a lot of 550 cars. By the end of this year in Egypt and Lebanon it will be delivered more than 4 thousand cars. The vehicles will be delivered from St. Petersburg by sea transport; the shipping will take no more than 1 month.

The Russian market is a priority for the plant "Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus". Total exports of the company for year will not increase and it will not exceed 10% of the total output of the plant. Since April of 2011 the plant "Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus" delivers vehicles to the markets of Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine.
