OREANDA-NEWS. On August 21st, the official Volkswagen dealerships across Russia began to receive the first cars Transporter, Caravelle and Multivan of sixth generation (series-T). All light commercial vehicles of a new series, produced in Hanover, according to the company, have a classic modern design, comfort and ergonomics: maximum space in a compact size.

As for the appearance of this new line of cars, the designers have given it new features. Firstly, they have completely redesigned the front part, providing it with LED headlamps and automatic control of the headlights assistant (LightAssist).

Secondly, they updated the rear door: increased glass and changed lights. Customers now have the opportunity to order a combined two-colored body painting and special retro wheels. In addition, designers have seriously worked on the interior of the cabin, thinking through different versions - based on different groups of buyers. 

Light commercial vehicles Volkswagen T-series have efficient and powerful engines, they have improved chassis. With regard to technical improvements, the developers have provided a new generation with adaptive chassis (DynamicChassisControl), four-wheel drive, based on Haldex of the latest fifth generation, with numerous assistants security. In particular, the MultiCollisionBrake ystem is included here in the list of standard equipment. Infomedia system is available in several versions (6.33-inch display, integrated online services AppConnect and MediaControl, USB-connection and Wi-Fi router, navigation and so on).

There were announced prices for vehicles: cargo Transporter - from 1.375 million rubles, for the passenger version of the Transporter - from 1.82 million rubles, Caravelle – from 1 950 000 rubles, Multivan - from 2.365 million rubles.
