The second festival of KVN among power engineers IDGC of Centre was held in Yaroslavl
The teams competed in three contests: the greeting "We’re no stokers and no carpenters ...", biathlon and musical homework "Against Ohm no trick". The jury was impartial. More than a thousand spectators gathered to support the teams.
Expanding the set theme of the game, the participants in addition to a sense of humor demonstrated artistry and ability to work in a team. With irony and at times with light sarcasm they reflected in their speeches unexpected and funny situations they encountered in the work - they joked about the hard work in the Distribution Zone, about the difficulties of dealing with customers. Audience in the hall responded with laughter and explosive applauses to the best performances.
The team of "Yarenergo" was the best. Already in the first round the Yaroslavl players received the maximum score from the jury for the greeting. After the biathlon the leader strengthened its position. Pieces of the Sunday school of IDGC and a gypsy trying to foretell a power line, as well as a love story, artfully sung as part of the musical homework and worthy to become the subject of a series, left no doubt with the jury - the team of "Yarenergo" for the second time won the KVN festival of IDGC of Centre.
"We started to get ready somewhere for a month before the festival. For inventing jokes and performances we used all weekends and free evenings. Many scenes were borrowed from real life. For example, about the gypsy who came to Yaroslavl Distribution Zone to learn about the grid connection of her household," said the team captain, Chairman of the trade union of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division Anton Sukharev.
The second place went to the team of "Susanin Energy" from Kostroma, and the third - to the team of "Lossless" from Belgorod.
Chairman of the jury - Deputy General Director for HR Management and Organizational Design of IDGC of Centre Inna Gromova noted the high level of the teams and their good preparation and serious attitude to the festival, as well as the importance of such events for the company.
IDGC of Centre, PJSC has an active social policy aimed at attracting and retaining young professionals. For us it is important that young people participate not only in production but also in social life. Such events as the KVN festival unite young people, allow them to know each other better, to feel the support from the team. In the future it will help them more effectively solve production problems," explained Inna Gromova.
The festival is certainly a success.
