OREANDA-NEWS. Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant begins to sell the family of updated SUV UAZ Patriot. The first restyled cars will appear in dealerships at the end of August. The cost for the updated family UAZ Patriot SUVs, based on existing programs, starts from 609 000 rubles. Premiere of UAZ Patriot will be held at the International Exhibition of SUVs Moscow Off-Road Show, informed the press service of Sollers.

An updated version of the flagship model of UAZ received new exterior colors - dark gray metallic and brown metallic, as well as a new design of 18-inch wheels with diamond-cut finish.

With regard to changes in the interior, new door trims are now hiding internal gaskets of windows. Salon also has new seat upholstery, made in two colors, combined with the application of the original stitching on the seat contour, as well as the loud speakers with a larger diameter in the rear doors combined with new tweeters in the front doors, which improved sound quality of multimedia system. For the comfort of the passengers it was mounted armrest with two cup holders in the back row.

Another change – is the use in a new generation of UAZ Patriot pneumatic stops of bonnet that allows effortless opening of the bonnet and easily operation of the car. In addition, the updated SUV received the frameless wiper blades.

For the first seven months of 2015 Ulyanovsk car plant sold in the Russian market 24 336 vehicles, an increase of 8% compared to the same period of the last year. The best-seller of the brand is the flagship SUV UAZ Patriot, whose sales rose by 9.1% to 9882 units.
