OREANDA-NEWS. In July 2015, SIX Swiss Exchange and SIX Structured Products Exchange Ltd registered a slight decline in the number of transactions. At 4'133'975 they were 2.9% lower than in the previous month. ETFs were the only segment to post an increase of 11% to 88'093. Also lower than in June 2015 were the turnover figures, dropping 12.4% to CHF 1'03''118 million - which is still higher than in July 2014 (CHF 89'920 mn).

Despite this decline, both turnover and number of transactions at the end of July are substantially higher than in the same period in the previous year. Since the beginning of 2015, turnover has risen by 28.7% (to reach CHF 855'905 million) and the number of transactions by 37.1% (to 30'496'697). With a growth of 33.1% and 38.6% respectively, the figures were even higher for the segment Equities (inl. Funds + ETPs).
