OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", as of June 2015 the weighted average price of new cars in Russia was 1,127,100 rubles (excluding actions and discounts). It is more by 11.4% than in June of 2014 (1001.8 thousand. Rub.) The price of the car in the premium segment grew by 32%, and in the mass – by 6%. "Customers of budget cars are much more sensitive to changes in the value and so manufacturers are forced to keep prices down, to not stop the sale," - said Sergey Udalov, the executive director of the agency "AUTOSTAT".

However, experts noted that in comparison with January of this year the weighted average price remained almost at the same level (+ 1.4%).

According to Sergei Udalov, the range of change of average prices by brands is quite broad and it reaches up to 50%. But there are brands, by which it is recorded the decrease in average cost, associated with the change in the structure of sales in favor of cheaper models.

"If you compare the price increase and growth of currencies, it should be noted that the prices of cars are not directly correspond to fluctuations in exchange rates. Thus, the dollar exchange rate by June of 2014 increased by 58.4%, while the euro – by 30.7%. The weighted average prices as we calculated increased only by 11.4%, "- says Sergey Udalov, the executive director of the agency "AUTOSTAT".

According to Sergei Udalov, the increase in the average price of the car can proceed in the coming months.
