OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2015.  World Oil's tenth annual High-Pressure, High-Temperature Drilling, Completions and Production Conference will be held September 23–24 in Houston, Texas, at the Norris Conference Centers-CityCentre. The 2015 event will feature a high-level, two-day technical program devoted to knowledge sharing and best practices in high–pressure, high–temperature drilling. This year's program will focus on HPHT in a new, low-price environment; the benefits of industry standardization to reduce costs; joint industry projects (JIPs); qualifications testing; operator responsibility; materials and materials testing; equipment design, development and implementation; subsea technology; MDP applications under HPHT conditions; real–time production monitoring; case histories; and more.

NEW for 2015, we will be adding topics on: HPHT equipment and testing advances (BOPs, valves, OCTG and premium connections, seals, subseas and tiebacks); Ancillary equipment (battery technology and gauges); Regulatory challenges (BSEE regulatory review, well control rule, API 11D1, API 17D, and 3rd party verification; HPHT systems and components (HIPPS and technology gaps in HPHT systems); and JIP/collaboration.
