OREANDA-NEWS. During the corporate holiday at AVTOVAZ the work continued on the production preparing for LADA XRAY. "To date, we have already received about 85% of all the necessary components for assembly of XRAY,” - the director of the project “LADA XRAY Cars”, Oleg Grunenkov told reporters of VAZ-TV. – “The rest parts are now on the road or at the stage of execution of the order. And in the next 10-15 days we will get all the rest details - so we will be prepared fully for the next assembly of lot of XRAY cars. The project is going according to plan, the schedule is fully implemented. Services that worked at a corporate holiday fulfilled completely their task. BEfore the end of the plant’s holiday it will be welded 19 bodies. Next week 13 of them will go to the validation and the rest six units will be painted and sent to the assembly”.

Despite the large scope of works associated with the launch of the model in production, we are not behind the schedule. Now the steps of welding of the body are worked out. There is a hardware configuration - to reach a stable level of geometry. There is a number of upgrades by the posts. Press production has already received 187 stamps from manufacturers (it is almost 50% of the required amount). There are prepared the manufacturing facilities for the production of plastic products for the model.

"The readiness of the construction part by new models that are preparing for the production (Vesta and XRAY) - 80-90%, start-up - within 60-80%," - said the representative of the enterprise.
