OREANDA-NEWS. The first estimate for euro area (EA19) exports of goods to the rest of the world in June 2015 was €182.7 billion, an increase of 12% compared with June 2014 (€162.7 bn). Imports from the rest of the world stood at €156.4 bn, a rise of 7% compared with June 2014 (€146.7 bn). As a result, the euro area recorded a €26.4 bn surplus in trade in goods with the rest of the world in June 2015, compared with +€16.0 in June 2014. Intra-euro area trade rose to €151.2 bn in June 2015, up by 10% compared with June 2014.
