OREANDA-NEWS. During the commissioning works, E.ON Russia Berezovskaya GRES Unit No3 was hooked up to the power grid. Synchronization of the 3rdpower unit with the UES of Siberia allowed starting the final stage of tests at the new unit.

Within a few days, in line with a special program, the main unit controllers will be adjusted, frequency and capacity overall primary control response will be tested, turbo generator load-bearing characteristics will be measured. Thereupon, the unit complex test and certification tests are to be carried out.

During the reliability run, the unit will have to work for 72 hours under a nominal load of 800 MW, and for 8 hours under a minimum load (480 MW).
