OREANDA-NEWS. August 14, 2015. “Endava”, one of the IT services companies in Europe, expands its presence in the Republic of Moldova by opening a new office in Chisinau. The new office opening is an important step in the IT sector development in our country and provides opportunities for young people choosing an IT career.

The Deputy Minister of Information Technology and Communications, Dumitru Parfentiev, welcomed the company extension and mentioned that the MITC is working hard to ensure optimal activity conditions for the IT companies and for the new investments attraction into the sector. To that end, the draft law on the IT parks, adopted by the Parliament during the first reading, is of high importance.

 „Virtual IT parks will offer to its residents simple and transparent activity conditions and customs incentives. The introduction of a single tax in the amount of 7% out of the sales volume shall considerably reduce the necessary time and resources for the taxes administration and leaves no place for interpreting  legislation and bureaucracy”,  Dumitru Parfentiev specified.

In the same context, Kumail Jetha, the General Manager of “Endava Chisinau” declared, that he “noticed the IT market potential in Moldova several years ago. Technical talent is at a high level, the work ethic is very good and the IT sector is growing from year to year.”

In his turn, Robert Spitall, the Operations Director of “Endava” added: “We deliver IT solutions from Chisinau to international clients, who appreciate the tradition of higher technical education. Moldova signed the Association Agreement with the EU as part of a plan to approach the European Union, which is a very important step that reinforces the commitment towards the Moldovan IT sector.”
