Nationwide MUZARTERY Roadshow Project Visits Chelyabinsk
UTair flew project participants to the South Ural capital city Chelyabinsk where a Donor Day event took place at two special mobile blood donation units set up in Chelyabinsk Central Park. The Donor Day event was followed by a concert with performances from famous local bands Ayacho, Poir?e and Veto. T-Killah and MUZARTERY-2015 finalist Arevik Bagdasaryan joined the event with special guest performances.
In addition, general partner UTair welcomed MUZARTERY participants at a special photo zone near the main stage throughout the day to take a picture with famous artists or make their own creative photo for submission to a photo contest. Contest results were announced during the concert and winners received prizes.
The MUZARTERY national music contest is one of the most prominent youth-oriented projects organized under the auspices of the State Blood and Blood Components Donation Promotion Program. The event inspires hundreds of talented song writers, musicians and performers to create new compositions dedicated to the cause of blood donation.
MUZARTERY is not the only project of the Russian Ministry of Healthcare and Federal Biomedical Agency joined by UTair Aviation. In 2014 UTair helped organize the Air Marathon for a Good Cause, a series of blood donation events along a more than 30,000 km long route across Russia. In 2015 UTair provided support for the 70 Years of Victory Blood Drive running through five Hero Cities and Cities of Military Glory across the country. More than 1,500 people participated in the donor movement in that period.
“UTair’s cooperation with the Ministry of Healthcare and the Federal Biomedical Agency is no coincidence,” said UTair – Passenger Airlines President Oleg Semenov. “The lack of donor blood is a problem troubling many Russian regions. UTair’s network, one of the largest in the country, has helped the donor movement to maximize its presence in Russia.”
