The Head of Government said at a Cabinet’s meeting.
He stressed it is vital to ensure "safe food balance in Ukraine": "To avoid a situation when everything would be exported, so we wouldn't have what to eat in the country."
Besides, the Prime Minister demanded from Oleksii Pavlenko to find out predicted export volumes and showings of national grain market from domestic grain operators.

He instructed the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the Ministry of Economy, the NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine to provide a clear forecast, whether Rivneazot and Cherkassyazot would start operation and which domestic production volumes are expected: "If necessary, we will adopt a decision on import".
