OREANDA-NEWS. By the results of sales of Lada Granta in July, it passed forward for the first time two foreign cars - Hyundai Solaris and KIA Rio. However, for the first seven months of 2015 the bestseller of AvtoVAZ continues to lead the ranking of the most sold models in Russia.

According to the review of the Russian car market in July, the best-selling model in Russia has become again Hyundai Solaris with 10,251 sold vehicles (+ 8.8%). The second result was shown by KIA Rio on the same platform - 9151 sold cars (+ 68.5%). Thus, Lada Granta, sales of which were 9,105 cars (-23%), fell to the third place by passing forward for the first time two foreign cars. Sales of the updated sedan Volkswagen Polo were 3685 units (-16%), Renault Logan - 3,684 units (-34.6%) for the last month. The flagship model of AvtoVAZ Lada Priora was sold in the amount of 3547 units, which is more by 3.4% than a year before. Business Toyota Camry sedan found 3508 buyers, which is more by 12.4% than a year ago. The leader in the SUV segment for the first time was crossover Toyota RAV4, sales of which increased by 25.8% to 3131 cars. Two models Renault are closing the top-10 of best-selling models in Russia - SUV Duster (3033 units, -46.7%) and a hatchback Sandero (3007 units, + 29.9%).
