OREANDA-NEWS. The tire products of the PJSC TATNEFT's Petrochemical Complex are again among the winners of the "Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan" contest in 2015 in the nomination "Technical and industrial products". The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan have summarized the results of the contest.

The Republican contest is annually held under the program "100 best goods of Russia". This year 443 applications from 192 manufacturing enterprises, organizations, institutions and folk artistic  craft  people of the Republic were received.

Winner diplomas of the of "Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan" contest  in the nomination "Technical and industrial products" were awarded to OOO "Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory" for KAMA NR 202 315/70 R22,5 and KAMA NF 202 315/70 R22,5 pneumatic tires and PJSC "Nizhnekamskshina" for   KAMA EURO-236 car tires of sizes 185/60 R15 and 185/65 R15.

KAMA NR 202 tires are designed for use on the trucks' rear axle at the ambient temperature from - 45 degrees to +55oC. The unhackneyed tread pattern having extended grooves and specially formulated rubber compound provides for the tire self-cleaning from stones, snow, mud and melt water, which improves driving reliability. The reinforced lateral zone together with the unique framework design protects the tire from external damages and allow confident coping with increased loads. In addition, this model has a low noise level.

KAMA NF 202 tires are designed to be mounted on the front axles of wheels of different carrying capacity trucks. The tread pattern has five broad ribs, which significantly reduce rolling resistance resulting in fuel consumption reduction. Furthermore, the use of broad ribs has allowed for maximizing the tire contact area with the road surface, thereby significantly improving the traction characteristics. The tread pattern has 4 longitudinally located grooves of saw tooth  pattern, which allows  improving the roadhold on wet and damp surfaces. For the same purpose, the ribs of KAMA NF 202 tire pattern are covered with diagonal waveform slats. The slats   located in the tire pattern shoulder zones merge into the longitudinal grooves at the edge, thereby dividing the shoulder zones into separate blocks. This contributes to uniform distribution of the load. The tire tread is equipped with wear indicators, allowing to quickly and accurately assess the residual life of the tire without using any measuring tools.

The special design of KAMA SSC tires compared with the conventional tires of the combined design allows saving up to 8% of the fuel, increasing the load-carrying capacity up to 8%, increasing endurance, improving speed characteristics and increasing the service life. The SSC tires demonstrate the tire life up to 250 thousand km today. The construction design of the KAMA SSC tires provides for the possibility of retreading, which increases the service life of the tire up to 500 thousand km. Retreading of solid steel cord tires is performed at OOO KaMaRetread, which is a company established jointly with the Italian company Marangoni SpA, one of the world leaders in tire retreading and production of  pre-vulcanized cover protectors.

KAMA EURO 236 products are all-season tires designed for both domestic and imported cars. Fast braking, high stability when in direct motion and cornering, vehicle steerability on dry and wet roads: all of these indicators are ensured by the optimum geometry of the tread profile. Inherent with these tires is the significantly reduced risk of aquaplaning, provision for excellent directional stability and control when cornering. Also important is the significant reduction in the level of "noise", rolling resistance, reduced rubber weight and thereby reduced fuel consumption. SSC tires are supplied to PJSC "KAMAZ", OJSC "NEFAZ", OOO "MZ" Tonar ", and are exported to over 30 countries.

Sizes 185/60 R15 and 185/65 R15 KAMA EURO-236 brand tires have gone through a complete homologation procedure for supplies to domestic and foreign automobile assembly plants. PJSC "Nizhnekamskshina" has successfully passed all the pre-series and serial audits of consuming car manufacturing factories.
