OREANDA-NEWS. August 10, 2015. Combining of joint ventures Mercedes-Benz Trucks Vostok and Fuso Kamaz Trucks Rus, the merger agreement of which was signed on June 2nd, 2015 was completed. It was stated by General Director of "MB Trucks Vostok" Heiko Schultze, by noting that the new structure will permit us to exploit synergies in the management and production of the two brands Mercedes-Benz and Fuso. Shares of MBTV and FKTR are owned on a parity basis by Daimler AG and KAMAZ.

The merger of Mercedes-Benz Trucks Vostok and Fuso Kamaz Trucks Rus, is intended to optimize the management costs, since both companies are on the same production site in Tatarstan. According to the agreements, "Mercedes-Benz Trucks Vostok" bought 100% of the share capital of OOO "Fuso Kamaz Trucks Rus".

After the restructuring unit of Fuso it was resumed the assembly of small trucks Mitsubishi Fuso Santer, and the business unit Fuso appears in the structure of "MB Trucks Vostok", which will continue to work under long-term plans for the development of the brand Mitsubishi Fuso.

The head of the new business unit Fuso was appointed Ilya Bochkarev, who has almost twenty years of experience in European and American automotive companies. The main task in the new post is in the provision of the growth of sales in the market - vehicles, parts and services, improving the quality of the distributor, by optimizing internal and external processes of the dealer network, continuing education and growth of the staff.
