OREANDA-NEWS. SOGAZ Insurance Group has won the tender for insurance of Suzun OJSC in construction and reconstruction of Suzun field wells.

"SOGAZ will insure the risks of Suzun in exploration and development of Suzun deposits in a total of 62 wells, as well as civil liability for damage to the environment, life, health, and property of third parties," said Sergey Maximov, Vice-President and Director of Oil Company Insurance.

The total sum insured will be more than RUB 40.7 bn. The insurance is provided for four years. Two insurance companies participated in the open competitive tender.

Suzun OJSC is included in the perimeter of the Vankorneft CJSC which is the operator of Suzun oil and gas field.
