REANDA-NEWS. August 07, 2015. Ford just announced the release of their new 2015 Ford Ranger to Vietnamese customers in Mid-August, a bestseller amongst the pickup truck segment. This year’s model features a smarter and tougher design, in addition to its advanced technological capabilities, and should prove to set the mark amongst competitors in the segment.

“The new Ranger brings a new level of comfort and refinement to its segment, yet ensures the rugged capability that our customers demand,” said Tr??ng Kim Phong, Marketing & Sales Manager, Ford Vietnam. “It represents a blend of power and wisdom, also a greater combination of work, lifestyle as well as family values.”

Ford Vietnam will provide six lifted versions of the Ranger, including the XL and Wildtrak. Customers will also be able to choose from a 4x4 and 4x2 drivetrain, a six speed automatic or manual transmission and a 2.2L or 3.2L diesel engine. To accompany what’s under the hood, the new Ranger will be one of the smartest and safest trucks on the road, equipped with a variety of driver assist features, including SYNC 2 connectivity, lane keeping aid, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, and an electronic stability program.

Ranger has led the pickup truck segment in Vietnam over the last two years, accounting for 50 percent of the market, a significant contributor to Ford’s position as the second fastest growing brand in Vietnam. Since 2001, over 20,000 Rangers have been purchased and trusted by Vietnamese consumers.

“Out of every two pick-up trucks sold in Vietnam, one of them is a Ranger,” Mr. Truong Kim Phong said. “We are confident that the new Ranger, with improved fuel efficiency, refinement and technological advancements, will continue to satisfy our customers’ expectations and lead the segment in Vietnam.”

Retail price will range from 619 million to 859 million VND, VAT included.
