OREANDA-NEWS. From August 24 to 27, 2015, the research and practical seminar “Organization of operation, maintenance and repair of underground mining equipment. Advanced methods and technologies” will take place on the basis of PJSC PIMCU, the largest uranium mining plant of Russia.

The seminar’s program includes reports by representatives of PJSC PIMCU, JSC Atomredmetzoloto, АВВ and others as well as topical round tables to discuss issues of technical policy and operation of mining equipment, and a case study.

This seminar will enable to share experience, familiarize with advanced equipment maintenance and operation technologies, present achievements and projects of enterprises-participants.

The PJSC PIMCU open day will also be held as part of the seminar. Delegates will be offered to visit production sites of the plant, including a repair and mechanical plant and an underground mine. Besides, delegates will be able to take part in ceremonial events dedicated to celebration of the miner’s day in Krasnokamensk.
