OREANDA-NEWS. August 06, 2015. By the Order of the Transport Minister of the Russian Federation dated July 14, 2015, senior executives of Joint Stock Company Freight One (Freight One) received departmental awards for labor achievements and long dedicated service on the railways.

In particular, Oleg Bukin, CEO of Freight One, was awarded the Honorary Railwayman badge for his personal contribution to the development and improvement of the industry.

Oleg Bukin has over 20 years of experience in the transport industry. In 2001 he was appointed head of Independent Transport Company, and in 2009 he became CEO of T.A. Management, the managing organization of UCL Holding, an international transport group. Since 2012, Oleg Bukin has been in charge of Freight One, the largest railway freight operator in Russia.

Additionally, the Transport Minister awarded commendations for high production results and many years of strong performance to Alexander Sapronov, Executive Director of Freight One; Alexander Pechurin, Head of the Transportation Department; Alexander Gerasimov, Director of the Voronezh Branch; Yevgeny Dolzhenko, Director of the Novosibirsk Branch; and Yuri Shifrin, Director of the Yaroslavl Branch.

On July 30, 2015 the Russian Transport Ministry, headed by Maxim Sokolov, held a gala reception, where the minister presented awards to employees of Freight One, said his thanks for their contribution to the industry and wished them further success.

The Honorary Railwayman badge is a departmental award of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, presented to highly professional employees for personal achievements in the development of railway transport, increasing its efficiency and customer service culture, for drafting laws and regulations on railway transport activities, and other merits in the railway transport sphere. The badge may be awarded to long-serving workers highly respected by labor collectives and having an impeccable record on the railways.

Commendation from the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation is a form of encouragement for transport sector employees, awarded for high production achievements and fruitful work, success in improving economic efficiency and competitiveness of transport services, advancing labor efficiency, the level of labor safety and protection, development of modern technologies, and other personal merits for the benefit of the transport sector.
