OREANDA-NEWS. Shvabe Holding has presented its initiatives at the conference on the topic: "Energy effective city: infrastructure of the future", which was held in Moscow as a part of ELECTRO-2015 24th International Exhibition.

The proposals relating to the top priority state program in the sphere of energy-saving have been made by Ivan Ozhghikhin, Shvabe-Moscow LLC's director at the conference concerning the relevant environmental protection issues, problems of energy-saving and establishment of energy services in Russia.

"What is today called an "energy effective city" implies implementation of the future infrastructure and requires integrated solutions, which are to be laid as early as at the design stage. Shvabe Holding provides the whole cycle of creation of modern devices and systems - from carrying out fundamental and prospecting investigations to development of prototypes and their use in serial production. And Holding is ready to act as a backbone organization for manufacture of high-technology products in the interests of state and municipal structures. One of the leading directions of the Holding's activity is the manufacture and fitting-out of energy-saving light engineering products for various facilities - from a building to the whole city, which provides a significant saving of electricity", told Ivan Ozhghikhin.

In 2014 Shvabe Holding has signed a unique long-term contract with Nizhniy Tagil Administration for the production of work on designing, construction and maintenance of the whole ity outdoor lighting system for the full life cycle period. For 28 years of the Shvabe contract's validity more than 20,000 new energy effective lighting fixtures will be installed, more than 700 km of the lighting distribution network will be constructed as well as permanent maintenance of the outdoor lighting facilities installed will be ensured.

According to Ivan Ozhghikhin, at present the Holding itself can act in the role of energy services company, however the availability of conflicts in the laws regulating the relations of all participants of long-term contracts impedes entering into agreements.

The Shvabe's representative has pronounced not only a number of problems preventing from implementation of the state program for effective use of energy resources but also the solutions proposed by Holding's specialists. The initiatives have been approved by Aleksandr Mitreykin, directror of the department of energy-saving and enhancement of energy effectiveness of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, who also took part in the interregional conference on the topic: "Energy effective city. Infrastructure of the future".
