Freight One Boosts Non-Ferrous Volumes in H1 2015
The positive dynamics was backed by increased volumes under the service contract with UC RUSAL to ensure the producer's needs in finished products export from the company's Russian aluminum smelters, as well as by the rising demand for non-ferrous metals in Russia and abroad.
The finished products were carried in gondolas from stations of the East Siberian, the Krasnoyarsk, the West Siberian, the Sverdlovsk, and the Privolzhskaya Railways to the consignees in Russia, as well as through the ports of the Oktyabrskaya and the North Caucasus Railways for export in Europe, America, and Turkey.
"The traffic volume growth under the service contract with one of the major Russian consignors is an example of Freight One's successfully implemented customer focus technology complex. Freight One's service products are tailored to the individual needs and interests of the consignor and are a new quality customer interaction format," said Alexander Sapronov, the Executive Director of Freight One.
