Chernivtsi Appeal Court forces UniCredit Bank to repay a deposit on false contract
The plaintiff argued that on 23 October, 2014 he entered into a deposit agreement with the bank, having placed UAH 458.5 thousand, and UniCredit Bank supposedly should have returned it in US dollars at the rate of 13.1 UAH/USD. At the same time the bank has no information about such a client. Moreover, there is no even such a product with deposit conversion in UniCredit Bank.
The examination shows that the documents presented by the plaintiff are fake. Despite this, the Appeal Court in Chernivtsi took the side of the plaintiff and ordered to repay the amount indicated in the "contract".
