OREANDA-NEWS. PJSC “MOESK” (belonging to “Rosseti” Company Group) notes positive changes in the number of applications filed by the representatives of small and medium enterprises requiring access to the Company’s grid facilities.

Thus, since the beginning of the year “MOESK” branches have registered about 4,300 applications for the technological connection made by the applicant category requiring the power ranging from 15 to 150 kW and including entrepreneurs among others. The greatest percentage of applications (77 %) has been filed by the customers doing business in Moscow, as well as in the North and South of the Moscow Region.

The total power of the facilities belonging to this category and connected by “MOESK” since the beginning of the year has reached nearly 123 MW.

Compared to the previous year, the number of applications has increased almost twice. Besides the share of applications filed via Internet has also increased. About 30 % of the Company’s customers preferred to file online applications via MOESK’s specialized portal utp.moesk.ru.

It should be reminded that “3 steps - 2 visits” program has been introduced in order to simplify the procedure for the electric grid connection and thus to reduce considerably the number of stages, period and cost of technological connection. As judged by the dynamics observed last year, the average cost of connection, for example, for small and medium enterprises has decreased by one-third from RUR 380 ths. to RUR 268 ths. (excl. VAT). The terms of connection have been reduced to 90 days for the category of up to 150 kW. This is twice as fast as stipulated by the current laws. The number of stages have been reduced thanks to cooperation with “Mosenergosbyt” as well. Now the customers can also conclude contracts for the technological connection and power supply with “MOESK”. Metering devices are also accepted by the specialists from the grid company.

“The Moscow powermen’s initiative has found its way in the National rating of the investment climate in the Russian regions as deployed by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. The simplification of the technological connection procedure has allowed the capital region to make a real breakthrough, including due to the simplicity of connection to the electric grids, as judged by the results of the previous year. We understand that this service is an integral component of almost any successful business, and therefore of the possible growth of investment flows in the region, "said Aleksandr Pyatigor, Deputy General Director for Technological Connection and Service Development of PJSC “MOESK”.

Nowadays “MOESK” offers its customers any form of application: personally, visit to the Company’s office, by phone of the unified contact center or online. In addition, there is the possibility of obtaining additional services such as “Turnkey Technological Connection”, “Energy Assistance”, “Grids without Borders”, etc., involving the execution of all the electrical works by MOESK’s specialists against the guarantee of the grid company.
