OREANDA-NEWS. The cooperation of PJSC TATNEFT and JSC "Ozenmunaygaz" (subsidiary of JSC "Exploration Production "KazMunayGaz") is going on.

Within the frame of the memorandum signed in 2012, the experts of "Ozenmunaygas", Kazakh oil company, and TATNEFT Company introduce new technologies into production.

55 PTS80 type chain drives for downhole sucker rod pumps have been put into operation in the oil fields of Kazakhstan since the beginning of the cooperation program implementation. Compared to a conventional pumping unit the advantages of PTS80 include decrease in dynamic loads and in specific energy consumption for lifting the products, possibility to operate the wells with small diameter additional production strings without performance loss, efficient use of the wells stock, which operation is complicated by high-viscosity and emulsified products. The technological and economic efficiency of the chain drives at the wells is achieved through reducing the number of workovers and energy saving.

The technologies and equipment developed by TATNEFT's experts to combat scaling and suppress the life ability of sulphate-reducing bacteria are also being successfully implemented at the oil fields of JSC "Ozenmunaygas".
