Ford Motor Company Fund has expanded the Enactus Ford College Community Challenge (C3) to South Africa with four local universities being selected to receive funding for community upliftment projects. The C3 programme runs in partnership with the Ford Motor Company Fund and global non-profit organisation Enactus with the aim of improving the quality of life and creating a more sustainable place to live and work.

Universities across South Africa were invited to submit applications and proposals for the Enactus Ford C3 programme. All 16 applicants were invited to attend the National Competition in Sandton on the 22 – 23rd July. Last night Ford announced the four universities selected for this year’s challenge. Each Enactus team will receive \\$5 000 from the Ford Fund to start and run their project for the next 12 months.
