OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank and the government of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed by CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board, Herman Gref, and Acting Governor of Sakhalin Oblast, Oleg Kozhemyako.

The agreement provides for cooperation in a number of areas, including investment projects in various industries in the region, support for small and medium business in Sakhalin Oblast, programs to develop local infrastructure and take federal and municipal services online, and financial services for federal authorities, local government and budgetary organizations.

"Cooperation between Sberbank and the government of Sakhalin Oblast delivers visible positive results," said Herman Gref. "The agreement will make it possible to expand and strengthen our cooperation."
