DX Marketing Selects Oracle Cloud as the Foundation for its Data-Driven Marketing Platform
Faced with the challenge of identifying valuable consumer data, from hundreds of millions of records, for customer acquisition programs, DX Marketing’s IT department decided to replace its on premises computing platform. For its new solution, DX Marketing sought to reduce risk and infrastructure costs; adopt innovative database features to help improve time-to-market; and scale fluidly in order to meet expanding customer demand. With Oracle Database Cloud Service and Oracle Marketing Cloud Service, DX Marketing has achieved their goals and been able to take advantage of greater performance, security and scalability compared to its previous computing environment.
“We realized that our existing environment was straining our resources and not providing the kind of performance we needed to meet and exceed customer demand,” said Ray Owens, CEO, DX Marketing. “With our Oracle Cloud solution, we have been astounded at how fast and effectively we can get to market and that is a huge differentiator that helps us deliver ROI to our customers. Oracle’s multitenant and advanced analytics capabilities are enabling us to provide breakthrough solutions, and allow us to capitalize on business opportunities that can create new revenue streams. This was not possible with our prior solution.”
DX Marketing was up and running with its Oracle Cloud environment in less than three weeks, compared to the four months the company had expected, by leveraging Oracle’s resources and on-boarding support, which was paramount in DX Marketing selecting Oracle. Oracle Database Cloud Service has enabled the company to decrease time to market for customer campaigns by up to 70 percent through fast, easy database provisioning and pluggable database capabilities. Oracle Marketing Cloud has enabled the unmatched melding of online and offline data and analytics. The Oracle solution also enabled DX Marketing to automate administrative tasks and customize the environment; connect data across its clients’ marketing ecosystems to their individual customers to orchestrate a relevant experience; analyze the performance of their efforts; and implement security policies that align with business best practices.
“In the marketing industry, the sheer amount of data that organizations need to manage and glean insights from can be overwhelming,” said Jerry Gearding, Director of Marketing Analytics, DX Marketing. “With Oracle Database Cloud Service and Oracle Marketing Cloud Service, DX Marketing was able to take a slower and more constricting environment and quickly and easily move to a modern, agile cloud solution. As a result, DX Marketing now has the high performance, scalability availability and security it needs to respond to ever-increasing data demands and can provide our customers with unparalleled solutions.”
