OREANDA-NEWS. July 30, 2015. For the prolongation of the state program of parc renewal in 2015 it can be allocated additional 5 billion rubles. The Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, informed about it the newspaper "Vedomosti" by explaining that it is a preliminary decision. Under this program, the state compensates discounts offered by auto companies for new cars at the time of old cars giving in the disposal or under the scheme trade-in. From January to July 19th, it was sold 186,047 vehicles by the program, according to the Trade Ministry.

Since the beginning of 2015 it was allocated 15 billion rubles for the program of renovation. The money will be taken before the end of July, but an additional amount of 5 billion rubles will be enough for the rest five months, hopes Mr.Manturov. Interest rates are down - it should support the demand, he explains. By the end of the year it could begin a gradual market recovery, said the Minister.

In addition, it was pre-agreed that funding of another tool to support industry - program of preferential car leasing - will be increased by 1 billion rubles (up to 3.5 billion rubles), continues Mr.Manturov. According to it, it was sold 9344 from April 1st to July 19th.

Another 1 billion rubles will be spent on additional subsidies of interest rate on loans that were taken by enterprises for their automotive investment projects, says Mr.Manturov. "Given the fact that interest rates were raised, the companies do not fit into the parameters of the projects that they started back in 2009-2012. So we went to meet them at the stage of high interest rates, "- he explained. The increase of the number of participants of the program also influenced, adds an employee of one of the automobile plants.

The state supports the automotive industry in a declining market. In 2014, sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia fell by 10.3%, in the first half of 2015 - by 36.4%, according to the AEB. In the first half of the year in addition to the parc renewal program, preferential car leasing, car loans and subsidies for preferential procurement by regions of NGV vehicles, the government also allocated 10 billion rubles for the purchase of cars by state structures.
