OREANDA-NEWS. A meeting of the Russia-Brazil Business Council chaired by Deputy Chairman - Member of Vnesheconombank's Management Board Sergei Vasilievwas held at Vnesheconombank. The meeting was devoted to issues of organizing and holding a business-forum as part of the 9thsession of the Russian-Brazilian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Russian-Brazilian High-Level Commission on Cooperation.

In the attendance of the meeting were representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian Economic Development Ministry, the Russian-Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Vnesheconombank, the All-Russian Non-Governmental Organization "DelovayaRossia".

In the course of the meeting the Business Council and the Russian Institute of Strategic Research (RISR) entered into an agreement on cooperation. On behalf of the Business Council the Agreement was signed by its Chairman Sergei Vasiliev and on behalf of RISR - by its Deputy Director Igor Prokofiev.

The parties agreed to hold joint workshops, forums, round-table discussions and share information on Russian -Brazilian relations and cooperation with the BRICS countries.
