Owner in the segment of low-cost: «satisfied» - does not mean "loyal"
OREANDA-NEWS. Motorists - women that owning cars costing up to 600 thousand rubles, more than men are satisfied with their cars, but less loyal when it comes to re-purchase the car of the same brand. Such conclusion was made by experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", by conducting in July 2015 an opinion poll related to consumer preferences. This study involved more than 1.5 thousand car owners in the segment of low-cost.
Average satisfaction of male car owners with their cars (build quality, insulation, appearance, ergonomics, dynamics, controllability, stability etc.) was 75.9 points (on a 100-point scale), women - 82.2 points. Women also appreciated higher the satisfaction with the cost of ownership, by evaluating such parameters as fuel costs, maintenance costs and repairs, cost of spare parts, the cost of insurance and hull insurance. So satisfaction of cost of ownership among men was 67.6 points (on a 100-point scale), women - 70.1 points. However, when respondents were asked whether they are prepared to consider as a re-purchase a car of the same brand, which they own now - only 42% of women responded positively. Percentage of loyal to the brand of the car among man was slightly higher - 48%.
