OREANDA-NEWS. The president of AVTOVAZ, Bo Inge Andersson, told reporters about it under the big press conference dedicated to the birthday of the company. President reinforced the new trend by figures. At the end of 6 months of 2015 the share of LADA in Moscow grew by 1.3%, in St. Petersburg - by 3.1% (compared to the 6 months of 2014). At the end of July Mr.Andersson expects even more spectacular numbers: "In St. Petersburg we are approaching to 9%, in Moscow - 5%. Even very low numbers, but they show that we have the potential ... ".

The president recalled that in May and June, the company had to sell cars at discounted prices, which cost for AvtoVAZ about 0.5 billion rubles per month. In July, moreover, it is the first month when AvtoVAZ works without recycling program, AVTOVAZ sold without discounts. The exception was only the "Priora", which as a bonus option today is equipped with a free air conditioning. And, probably, therefore, the market share of AvtoVAZ in July will be less.
