OREANDA-NEWS. July 24, 2015. Bank of Russia issued Bank of Russia Ordinance No. 3679-U, dated 15 June 2015, ‘On Amending Clause 1.9 of Bank of Russia Ordinance No. 3028-U, ‘On the Procedure for Opening (Closing) and Managing a Mobile Cash Office of a Bank (Branch)’, registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Russia Federation, registration number 37993, dated 13 July 2015, (hereinafter, Bank of Russia Ordinance No. 3679-U).

In reality, credit institutions using Mobile Cash Offices (hereinafter, MCOs) for their remote field operations were facing the situation of poor infrastructural development locally, where local internal affairs bodies and security companies neither have technical facilities to provide signal reception from MCO navigation and monitoring systems nor provide relevant monitoring services.

To solve this problem the Ordinance envisages rerouting opportunity for the signal from navigation and monitoring systems to the bank’s in-house money processing and collection facilities. In case of emergency the signal is to be retransmitted to security companies.
