OREANDA-NEWS. 16 school graduates from Berezniki and Solikamsk will study at the Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNRPU) and the Berezniki Branch of the PNRPU as part of the Uralkali targeted admissions programme. The selected students will study the following subjects: Inorganic Substance Chemical Engineering, Mine Surveying, Mining Electrification and Automation, and Production Machines and Equipment. The winners of the contest were determined on the basis of the students’ Unified State Exam (USE) results. The applicants’ total USE scores across the three disciplines ranged from 180 to 245.

Targeted admissions students receive a range of benefits from the Company. Uralkali will provide them with a monthly maintenance grant amounting to 2,000-10,000 roubles, provided that they achieve strong results. Students will gain practical experience in the Company’s underground and surface facilities and use the collected material for their coursework and theses. Upon graduation, the students will receive a guaranteed job offer from Uralkali for a position that corresponds with their chosen degree.

Successful graduates are employed by the Company as technical engineers, foremen, mechanical engineers, power engineers and electrical engineers.
