OREANDA-NEWS. July 24, 2015. MSA plant as part of Rimera Group has started shipment of ball valves to the new client, Irkutsk Oil Company, one of major producers of crude hydrocarbons in Russia.

MSA plant as part of Rimera Group has started shipment of ball valves to the new client, Irkutsk Oil Company, one of major producers of crude hydrocarbons in Russia.

The order placed is for ball valves dia.50 -300 mm designed for operation under maximum pressure up to 10 MPa. The valves will be used both in their overheadand subsurface design. The majority of the valves have been manufactured with weldnecks to connect pipeline fittings.

Irkutsk Oil Company is a new client offering prospects for MSA. The company is in the business of geological exploration and production of crude hydrocarbons at fields and license areas of East Siberia, in the Irkutsk Region and Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

"MSA launched partnership with Russian companies way back in the 1970s. Since then, MSA has manufactured thousands of valve units for major Russian projects. According to 2014 round-up results, the share of Rimera's Czech plant shipments to Russia amounted to 30%", says Vladimir Kononov, Chairman of the MSA Board, Rimera's Executive Director.
