OREANDA-NEWS. July 23, 2015. The President of Ukraine, the Government of Ukraine and the National Bank of Ukraine inked a new Memorandum of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund. Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced at a Government meeting.

He noted that a meeting of the IMF Board was due on July 31.

"It allows Ukraine to obtain the next tranche in the amount of 1.7 billion dollars", he stressed.

In addition, laws are necessary which are though with difficulties but voted in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and "would provide additional financial opportunities for Ukraine to obtain financial resources worth 3.2 billion dollars from the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and other international financial organizations and the states which help Ukraine".
