President Poroshenko and Vice President of the European Parliament discussed support provided by the EU and Poland to Ukraine
The President also expressed hope that after the presidential elections in Poland, Richard Charnetsky’s experience would help further improve relations between the two countries, strengthen the position of Poland as an advocate for Ukraine's European integration for Ukraine, and in particular the visa-free regime for Ukraine.
Richard Charnetsky confirms that the European Parliament is ready to support Ukraine in introduction of the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU in 2016, which will be a strong driving force for the country’s development and reformation.
The President of Ukraine and the Vice President of the European Parliament discussed the situation in the Donbas and the Minsk agreements implementation. Richard Charnetsky praised Ukraine's efforts in promoting the implementation of the peace plan, including the constitutional reform.
Richard Charnetsky emphasized that Western countries place confidence in President Petro Poroshenko. "You are the most earnest partner when it comes to relationships between the West, Ukraine, and Poland,” he said.
The Vice President of the European Parliament said that the recent situation in Mukacheve has caused great harm to the image of Ukraine as the Russian PR used it against Ukraine. He emphasised the increased efforts of pro-Russian lobby in the European Union.
